Welcome to Dad's Wooden Toys

Did you know that wood is naturally antibacterial?

All of the teethers and figurines are made of nothing but 100% natural unfinished wood. The teethers are sanded and sanded again to maximize smoothness. There is no need to add any additional finish or chemicals. In fact recent clinical studies have discovered that wood has its own impressive antibacterial properties. Bacteria it is found will remain alive and transferable longer on plastic surfaces than wood. (Click here for more info)

However if you still desire to apply some sort of finish here is a link to a great tutorial on natural alternatives for applying a finish to your toys at home.
